Getting online couldn't be easier

Windows Users

1. Right-click the wireless network icon in your system tray.
2. Click 'View Available Wireless Networks' from the menu.
3. Double click on the 'CowesBB' network icon.
4. If prompted that you are connecting to an unsecured wireless network, click 'Connect Anyway'. (The Cowes Broadband Network employs advanced security technologies that isolate each users individual traffic. This makes it extremely difficult for users to snoop on other users data).
5. Once connected, start your preferred Internet Browser and you will be automatically redirected to our login page. From here you can signup to the service, or, if you are an existing user, log back in to carry on browsing the Internet.

There are no specific requirements for logging out of the network. Once you have finished surfing, just shutdown your computer in the usual way.

Mac Users (OSX)

1. Click on AirPort in the toolbar and select Turn AirPort On.
2. Select 'CowesBB' from the list of available wireless networks.
3. Select 'Open Internet Connect...' The AirPort status screen will now appear.
4. Once connected, start your preferred Internet Browser and you will be automatically redirected to our login page.From here you can signup to the service, or, if you are an existing user, log back in to carry on browsing the Internet.
