About the service

The Cowes Broadband service is made up of several wireless access points positioned around Cowes and East Cowes to give coverage both at the waters edge and in main population areas, as well as coverage on the water in certain areas.

Each access point has resilient links to the internet meaning should one link fail the point will seamlessly fail over to another and the customer can continue to surf. This process is automatic and requires no intervention from an engineer.

The service has been built with you, the customer, in mind and operates on equipment specifically designed and built to provide this kind of access.

Wireless speeds from 11Mbs to 54Mbs are available depending on proximity to the access point.
